The Rites of Spring Music Festival will be hosting a concert of nature inspired music at the Quogue Wildlife Refuge in their concert chamber with windows overlooking the refuge. THISTLE is thrilled to be playing as a trio with Julliard alums Reenat Pinchas on cello and Roxan Jurkevich on percussion.

Playing once again on Bannerman Castle Island at their summer concert series, sponsored by Adams Fair Acre Farms. It's very magical to play music atop this island. Because it will be cold, we will likely play in the castle. Full trio is coming out for this one!

THISTLE will be playing as a trio in a gorgeous listening room that was built just for chamber concerts in Maple Grove Cemetery. Audience members will look out onto grave sites through the wall of windows behind us, while we perform original songs inspired by Edgar Allan Poe. This concert is one of six in a series to promote the release of THISTLE's new record "Mysterious Star: A Tribute to Poe," and is sponsored by a 2023 Chamber Music America Artist's Project grant. Come to this gorgeous cemetery which is on the National Historic Registry and celebrate the Halloween season with us :)

Come to the Edgar Allan Poe Cottage in the Bronx to celebrate THISTLE's release of the single and video "Spirits of the Dead" from the upcoming album "Mysterious Star: A Tribute to Poe." Presented through Chamber Music America's Artists Project program, funded through the generosity of the Howard Gilman Foundation. The concert is held outdoors in front of the home that Edgar Allan Poe occupied during his later years, until his death in October of 1849. Bring blankets to sit on the grass, as only 20 chairs are available. 100 attendants maximum.

Rescheduled from October of 2020, THISTLE will be playing their Edgar Allan Poe material as a trio at the famed Omega Center to help usher in their Fall season. You must be a guest at Omega to attend this concert.

I will finally be playing the festival that I was scheduled to play in 2020! Can't wait to share my H.C. Andersen inspired record "The Ice Maiden Comes" with fellow Andersen lovers! I am lucky to have two very talented students from the local Syddansk Musikkonservatorium joining THISTLE this evening: Filippa Westerberg on cello and Linda Sjökvist on classical percussion. I'll be back on the island labor day weekend for lovely evening of dinner and music as part of the Bannerman Castle Island Trust fundraising for their arts programming. I am thrilled to take my harp back on the boat and up the mountain!

Just a boat ride from Beacon NY and then a 72 stair climb, you can check out the ruins of Bannerman "castle," which is really the crumbling warehouse for a WWI arms dealer. I will be playing in front of the Bannerman's former summer home on top of the mountain, which also looks like a little castle. Come hang! It's a lovely little island owned by the NY State Parks Dept.

I'll be playing some of my own tunes without words, as well as medieval, Irish and British songs on harp. Free and open to the public. Laura Jemison's artwork will be featured among the group of artists whose work will be shown. Standard art opening fare of wine, cheese and crackers will be served if covid allows.

Outdoor concert. Music at 7, doors at 6:30pm. Playing as a trio tonight with percussionist Al Cerulo and cellist Nick Jozwiack. Tickets available through Martha's Vineyard Chamber Society $15 online, $20 at the door.

My trio will be playing the Thursday night picnic series. We're so excited! I'm from this island, and we'll be playing next to the cemetery where my brother is buried. Nick Jozwiak will be playing cello, and Al Cerulo will be playing percussion. The event is free and open to the public, sponsored by the CCC.

From 12-6 the public will be able to see art and hear music in this charming community garden in one of the most unique neighborhoods of Kingston NY. (I'm serious, it's really weird and cool down by the water over there). I am playing at 5pm. It's free to the public, but I encourage you to buy a record! xo

I am honored to be a guest speaker and performer showing these young adults how I've analyzed stories to turn them into lyrics and how I set poetry to music.

I'm thrilled to be bringing my harp to the tippy top of Bannerman Castle Island to play my music for you! I'll be in or around the Victorian summer castle at the summit of this unique spot for two hours between 12 and 2pm. Tours are run by the NY State Parks Department and leave by boat from the Beacon Institute Floating Dock near the train station. Get your tickets now! This is a popular destination, and only a few acts get to play music here each summer season.
