THISTLE will be playing as a trio in a gorgeous listening room that was built just for chamber concerts in Maple Grove Cemetery. Audience members will look out onto grave sites through the wall of windows behind us, while we perform original songs inspired by Edgar Allan Poe. This concert is one of six in a series to promote the release of THISTLE's new record "Mysterious Star: A Tribute to Poe," and is sponsored by a 2023 Chamber Music America Artist's Project grant. Come to this gorgeous cemetery which is on the National Historic Registry and celebrate the Halloween season with us :)
